FAQs

Can I start my treatment during the Personalized Consultation? The initial consultation is an important step to create a personalized treatment plan and ensure you receive guidance from a qualified medical professional about potential risks and benefits. Cosmetic treatments can only be booked once your consultation has been completed. You can book your first treatment directly after the Personalized Consultation.

What should I do before my cosmetic treatment? To help you achieve the best results and reduce the risk of side effects, we recommend the following preparation: 1) Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment, as it can dilate blood vessels and increase the likelihood of bruising or swelling. 2) Pause certain supplements and medications that may thin the blood—such as fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, aspirin, or ibuprofen—at least 3–5 days prior, but only after checking with your doctor or pharmacist. 3) Refrain from intense exercise on the day of treatment, as increased blood flow can contribute to swelling or bruising. 4) Come with clean skin in the treatment area. Please remove all makeup, sunscreen, moisturizers, and serums beforehand. 5) Stay well-hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment to help you feel comfortable. 6) Share any relevant health information with your practitioner, including recent procedures, illnesses, allergies, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. These steps help your treatment go smoothly and support a comfortable, safe, and effective experience.

What should I do after my cosmetic treatment? Following the right aftercare steps will help you achieve the best results and minimize side effects: 1) Stay upright for at least 4 hours after your appointment to avoid pressure on the treated areas. 2) Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging the treated areas for the first 24 hours unless specifically instructed by your practitioner. 3) Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, and excessive heat exposure (including hot showers) for 24 hours, as heat and increased blood flow can affect your results. 4) Avoid alcohol for the rest of the day to reduce the risk of bruising or swelling. 5) Delay facial treatments such as massages, facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for at least 1–2 weeks, unless advised otherwise. 6) Use gentle skincare and avoid active ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, or exfoliants for the first 24–48 hours. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising can be normal and usually settle within a few days. An ice pack (wrapped in a clean cloth) may help. Contact your clinic promptly if you experience unusual pain, persistent swelling, or any concerns about your treatment results. Following these guidelines supports a smoother recovery and helps ensure your results develop as planned.
